There has to be a reason
Madame Minette, the French cat, has just spent an unhappy day in prison and
vehemently gives her views on this and on her approach to life. She
does not mind suffering, but only when she can be seen as a heroine!
Minette | Too many hours in a prison cell! Why it's quite disgusting quite appalling And it's really so demeaning, Every bit of me needs cleaning. I have never felt so shabby Like a common little tabby. Ugh! Don't ask me to face cockroaches and lice. Don't ask me to lie on a cold prison floor. But in the right cause I'll pay any price. I'll give up a life, well I've given up four. Oh don't you see, there has to be a reason. Oh don't you see, a gesture must have meaning. Oh don't you see, I need romance and danger And that for me there is no other way. |
